Ralph West: Executive Director/Motivational Speaker
Mr. West has worked with at risk youth for ten years. He has provided support to youth in various roles, including as a treatment foster parent, motivational speaker, and director of an after school recreation program. As a youth who grew up in the child welfare system, Mr. West brings a unique ability to connect with and relate to youth. Knowing, first hand, the daily struggles the youth encounter, Mr. West develops a significant bond with the youth that he works with and is able to provide tem with guidance and support based on his own experiences. Mr. West also uses the powerful tool of music to foster the development of self esteem, a sense of competence, and positive coping mechanisms for the youth in his care.
Heather Gaudette, LSW: Clinical Coordinator
Ms. Gaudette has worked for ten years with youth and families. Her experience includes working in the education and social service departments of Head Start programs as well as working with a diverse population of families and youth in treatment foster care. Her most recent experience includes working as a therapist in a residential treatment facility.
After earning her MSW from Rutgers University, Ms. Gaudette obtained her LSW, and is currently workings towards her LICSW.
Steve and Lynette McCollum: Staff Development Specialists
With over thirty-six collaborative years of experience in behavior modification techniques, combined with an energetic and passionate style, Steve and Lynette McCollum will inspire, motivate, and train staff to provide effective services to youth. Mr. and Mrs. McCollum have worked successfully in treatment foster care with adolescent youth with emotional and behavioral difficulties for over twenty years. They have also provided workshops in such areas as behavior management to staff at various programs serving youth.
